A Debt We Can Never Repay

ree

Today, we pause to honor the men and women who have stood on the frontlines of freedom — our Veterans. Their courage, discipline, and sacrifice have safeguarded the liberties that define who we are as Americans.

As a first responder, I’ve witnessed the kind of strength it takes to serve others — the long hours, the selflessness, the quiet courage that shows up day after day. Our veterans embody that same spirit, carrying the weight of duty not for recognition, but out of an unshakable commitment to something greater than themselves.

To every Veteran — and to the families who have served beside you — thank you. Your service reminds us that freedom isn’t free. It’s earned through sacrifice, vigilance, and love of country.

Today and every day, we honor you. We remember that your example calls each of us to serve in our own way — to build stronger communities, stand up for what’s right, and care for one another.

From one servant of the people to another, thank you for your courage, your resilience, and your legacy.

– Bernard Taylor Candidate for U.S. Congress, FL-21
